by organizing leaders from house to house- train them to educate the vulnerable locals affected by malaria.
-in the evening to close their doors and windows
-clearing the bushes around the homestead
-at evening to wear protective gear
- to clean drainage of stagnant water around the homestead
-the use of mosquito repellents-jell
-involvement of local, administrative and religious leaders; in educating the mass about dangers of contracting malaria.

The use of malaria prophylaxis among the risk group e.g pregnant mothers
